Back again, and it's time for more yummy and healthy dessert recipes! These protein balls are perfect before a tough workout, AND easy/ convenient. I like to make these and have about 1-2 every other day (depending on my cravings)....
What You Need:
Makes 8-10 protein balls
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp flaxseed meal
2 tbsp coconut (unsweetened is healthier but sweetened is fine)
1 tbsp chocolate or vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup nut butter
1 tsp of maple syrup
2 tbsp chocolate chips
1. These are quick and simple. First, take a large bowl and add oats, flaxseed meal, coconut, and protein powder.
2. Next, take honey, nut butter, and syrup and microwave in a small bowl for about 30 seconds or until warm. Mix all together and put over dry ingredients.
3. Add in your chocolate chips, and let it cool in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Then, form your balls with a tablespoon and ENJOY! :)
